View PEP & Watchlist Results

What you'll learn in this guide

When someone you've verified comes up as a possible match against a sanctions list, watchlist, or politically exposed person (PEP) register, the result is held for review in one place. This guide shows you where to find those results, how to filter down to the ones you're after, and what it means when nothing comes up.

Overview

As part of verifying members, CX Platform checks them against external screening lists — including sanctions lists, politically exposed person (PEP) registers, and similar sources. When a member's details look like they could match an entry on one of those lists, that possible match is flagged for someone to review rather than passing through unnoticed.

The Watchlist area in the Verify module is where those flagged results gather. From here you can search across your screening results, narrow them down with filters, and see which ones still need a decision.

It's a day-to-day home for anyone responsible for compliance checks — somewhere to keep an eye on possible matches and work through the ones that need attention.

Open your watchlist results

  1. Open the Verify module from the primary navigation along the top of the screen.
  2. In the secondary navigation on the left, under Verification management, click Watchlist.
  3. Your screening results open, ready for you to search and filter.

Filter your results

The filters across the top let you cut a long list down to exactly what you need. Set whichever ones apply, then click Filter to update the results.

  • Search — type a member number, name or ID to find a specific person.
  • Approval required — narrow the list to results that are still waiting on a decision.
  • All policies — limit results to a particular screening policy, or leave it as is to see them all.
  • All systems — limit results to a particular system, or leave it set to all.
  • Date range — choose the period you want to look at. This starts on Last 30 days, so widen it if you're chasing something older.

‍

  1. Set any filters that apply, or type a name, member number or ID into the search field.
  2. Click Filter to apply your selection.
  3. The list updates to show only the results that match.

That's it — you can keep adjusting the filters as many times as you like until you've found what you're looking for.

When no results appear

If you see the message No results for the selected filters. Please change your search options and try again, it means nothing matched the filters you've set. That's not a problem — it usually just means your filters are a little too narrow, or there genuinely aren't any matches in that window.

Quick tip
‍
The date range starts on the last 30 days, so older results won't show until you widen it. If you're expecting something and it isn't there, try stretching the date range or clearing a filter before searching again.
