Search, View or Edit a Member

What you'll learn in this guide

How to find a person in the Verify module, open their record to see what's been verified, and make changes or kick off a new verification when you need to.

Overview

The Members page is your starting point whenever you need to work with a specific person. It's where you search for someone who's already in the system, add a new member, and open a record to see their details and verification history.

Each member record pulls together everything Verify holds about that person in one place: their account and contact details, what's been checked, and where they sit against your verification policies. So whether you're confirming someone's identity has cleared or chasing down why a check is still outstanding, this is where you'll go.

You don't need anything special to get started, just the member's account number, member number, or even part of their name.

Search for a member

Finding someone takes a few seconds. Here's how:

  1. Click Members in the left navigation menu to open the Members page.
  2. In the search bar, enter the member's account number, member number, first name or surname.
  3. Click Filter to run the search. Any matching members will appear in the list below.

‍

Quick search
‍
Not sure of the exact details? Leave the search bar empty and click Filter. This lists every member, so you can scroll through and pick the one you're after.

‍

View a member's details

Once you've found the right person, opening their record is straightforward:

  1. In the list of results, click the highlighted member number or the paper icon on the left.
  2. The member's record opens on the Overview tab, where their details are grouped into easy-to-scan cards.

‍

Here's what each card tells you:

Card What it shows
Account Details The member's core identity information, including member number, name and date of birth.
Address Details Their residential address and its current verification status.
Superannuation Details Account-level information such as whether the account is active, the balance status, and when it was created.
Status A quick read on which identity checks have been performed, like address, PEP & Watchlist and document checks, and whether each has passed.
Policy Status Where the member sits against each of your verification policies, so you can see at a glance whether anything is still required.

‍

View a member's history

Want to see what's happened on a record over time? Switch to the History tab. This is where you'll find a full trail of activity for the member, split into two sections.

Section What it shows
Superannuation Positive Acts A dated log of member-side activity, such as logging into the member portal. It's a handy record of positive engagement when you need to confirm the member has been active.
Account History An audit trail of changes made to the record, showing the date and time, the IP address, and a description of what changed and who made it. Click the arrow at the start of any row to expand it and see more detail.

‍
Between the two, you can see both what the member has done and what's been changed on their behalf, which is useful when you're checking a recent update or reviewing activity for compliance.

Edit a member or run a new verification

From the member's record, you've got two actions close at hand in the top right:

  • Edit — click Edit to update the member's details, such as a corrected name or a new address.
  • New verification — click + New verification to run a fresh check against the member, handy when their circumstances have changed or a previous check has expired.

That's it. From a single search you can find anyone in Verify, see exactly where they stand, and make the changes or checks you need without leaving the page.
