Filter & Search Verifications

What you'll learn in this guide

How to narrow down the list of records so you can pinpoint exactly what you're after, whether that's a single member or every verification that shares the same status, policy or date range.

Overview

The Verifications page lists every verification that's run through the module, with one row per record. That's great when there's only a handful to look at, but the list grows quickly, and scrolling through page after page to find one member soon gets tedious.

That's where search and filtering come in. The search box helps you jump straight to a single record when you know who you're looking for, while the filters along the top let you slice the whole list down to a group of records that share something in common, like a status or a policy.

You'll reach for these tools whenever you need to track down a particular member's verification, review everything that came back with a certain result, or check what's happened over a specific stretch of time.

‍

Search or filter?
‍
Use search when you know the specific member you want. Use the filters when you want to see a group of records that have something in common. You can also combine the two to get really specific.

‍

Search for a verification

If you already know who you're after, the search box is the quickest way to find them.

  1. Click the Search Member number, Name, Id... box at the top of the page.
  2. Type in the member number, name or ID you're looking for.
  3. Click Filter to run your search.

The list will refresh to show any records that match. To clear what you've typed and start again, click the × at the end of the search box.

‍

Filter the list

The filter dropdowns sit to the right of the search box, and each one narrows the list in a different way:

  1. Use All statuses to show only verifications at a particular stage, such as those that have expired or come back verified.
  2. Use All policies to focus on records that were run against a specific policy.
  3. Use All systems to limit the list to a particular source system, handy if your tenant spans more than one.
  4. Use the date dropdown (set to Last 7 days by default) to choose the time range you want to look across.
  5. Click Filter to apply your selections.

‍

Tip
‍
Filters stack, so you can combine them to zero in on exactly what you need, for example every expired verification under one policy in the last 30 days. To remove the date range and go back to the full list, click the × on the date dropdown.

‍

Sort your results

Once you've got your list, you can reorder it to bring the most useful records to the top.

  1. Click any column heading, such as Date, Status or Surname, to sort the list by that column.
  2. Click the same heading again to flip between ascending and descending order.

Sorting by Date is a quick way to surface the most recent activity, while sorting by Surname makes it easier to scan a long list of members.

‍

Show more results per page

By default the list shows a set number of records at a time. If you'd rather see more on a single page, or step through the list, the controls at the bottom have you covered.

  1. Use the Page Size dropdown to change how many records appear on each page.
  2. Use First, Prev, Next and Last to move between pages.

That's it. Between searching, filtering and sorting, you can go from a full list of verifications to the exact record you need in just a few clicks, no matter how big the list gets.
