Overview
Verify activity is the reporting side of the Verify module. It's where you go to see how identity verification is tracking across your communications: how many checks have passed, which ones have failed or lapsed, what triggered them, and where they came from.
Getting people through verification cleanly matters. If a particular check keeps failing, or verifications are expiring before recipients complete them, you want to know early rather than after the complaints start. The dashboard gives you that picture in one place, so you can spot a problem, understand why it's happening, and act on it.
It's also your record for anyone who needs proof. When compliance or an auditor asks how many recipients were verified over a given period, this is where the answer lives.
Open Verify activity
- In the primary navigation, click Verify to open the module.
- In the secondary navigation, under Reports, click Verify activity to open the dashboard.
The dashboard loads with a view across all of your verification activity for the default time period. From here you can read the headline charts and filter down to a specific status, policy, source, or date range.
What the dashboard shows you
The dashboard pulls your verification data into four charts, each answering a different question. Here's a quick rundown of what to look for in each one.
Verification result
A breakdown of how recipients are tracking through verification, by outcome. The full set of results you'll see across your activity is Passed, Failed, In progress, Expired, Error, and Approval required. A healthy chart is mostly passed. A growing slice of failed or expired results is usually your first sign that something in the journey needs attention.
Requested policy
Which policy triggered each verification, such as a member joining, a withdrawal, or a digital form authentication. This tells you what's actually driving your verification volume, so you can see whether one process is generating most of the activity.
Source system
Where your verifications are coming from, such as digital forms or the Verify admin portal. It's a quick way to confirm that activity is flowing in from the channels you'd expect, and to spot if one source suddenly goes quiet.
Verifications (per day)
Your verification volume plotted over time, with each bar split by result so you can see the status mix at a glance. This is the chart for spotting peaks, quiet patches, and whether your passed-to-failed balance is holding steady or drifting as volume changes.
Filter to focus your view
The full dashboard is a broad summary. The filter bar across the top is what turns it into a focused view of the activity you care about.
- Use the dropdowns at the top to set what you want to see. You can narrow by All statuses, All policies, All systems, and a time period such as Last 6 months.
- Click Filter to apply your selections. Every chart updates to show only the activity that matches.
Stack your filters
The dropdowns work together, so you can combine them to get very specific. Pairing a single policy with a shorter time period, for example, lets you check exactly how that one process performed over a particular stretch without the rest of your activity getting in the way. To clear a filter, just remove its selection and apply again.
Compare results and spot trends
Wondering whether a recent change actually made a difference? This is where the filters earn their keep. Set the same view across two time periods and you can see whether your passed rate moved after you adjusted a policy or reworded a prompt.
The same approach works for comparing policies or source systems. Isolate one at a time and the patterns that were hidden in the overall numbers start to stand out, which makes it much easier to tell what's working from what only looks like it is.
Turn insights into action
The point of all this isn't the numbers themselves, it's what you do next. A few practical ways to put the dashboard to work:
- Chase down failures. A climbing failed rate is your cue to check whether a policy is asking too much of recipients, or whether the data behind it needs a tidy-up.
- Rescue expiring verifications. A high expired slice often means people are receiving the request but not completing it in time. That's worth investigating before it becomes a wave of support calls.
- Follow up approvals. Anything sitting in Approval required is waiting on a person, so keeping on top of these keeps recipients moving rather than stuck.
- Report with confidence. Filter to the period a stakeholder asked about, and you've got a clear, accurate picture to share rather than a rough estimate.
Quick recap
Open Verify activity from the Reports area of the Verify module, read the result, policy, source, and per-day charts to see how verification is tracking, then use the filter bar to focus on a status, policy, system, or date range. The charts tell you what's happening; the filters help you work out why.
