Overview
The Verify module screens members against watchlists. That includes Politically Exposed Person (PEP) lists, as well as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism sanction lists. When a member matches one of these, their verification is flagged and held for your review.
Behind every flagged result is a detailed report. It shows which lists the member appeared on, how strong the match is, and the supporting detail you need to make a call. Saving it gives you a documented record for your due-diligence checks and audit trail.
You'll want this whenever you're reviewing a flagged verification, building a case file, or need evidence that a watchlist check was carried out.
Flagged records show a Status of Approval required. If your list is long, set the status filter to Approval required and click Filter to show only the records still waiting on a decision.
Find a flagged record
Flagged verifications sit alongside everything else in the Verifications list, so the first job is tracking yours down.
- Open the Verify module from the top navigation.
- In the secondary navigation, under Verification management, click Verifications to open the list of verification requests.
- Find the record you're after. Search by member number, name or ID in the search box, or use the filters along the top (status, policy, system and date range) and click Filter.
- Check the Status column. Anything showing Approval required has been flagged against a watchlist and is waiting on your review.
- Click the Request Id (or the document icon to the left of the row) to open the verification.
That opens the verification overview, where you'll find the full detail behind the flag, including the watchlist results you came for.
Download the list of flagged records
Sometimes you'd rather work with the whole list offline, say in a spreadsheet for bulk review or to share with your team. The Verifications list exports to a CSV file in a couple of clicks.
- Head back to the Verifications list if you've moved away from it (Verify > Verifications).
- Apply any search or filters first, so the list shows just the records you want to export.
- Click Download at the top right of the list.
A .xlsx file downloads with the records currently shown, covering the list-level detail you see on screen (request ID, member, status, source, policy and so on). It won't include the full report behind each flag, so for that you'll still want View report, covered next.
View and download the report
With the verification open, the report sits just below the summary cards.
This isn't the same as Download certificate at the top of the page. That button gives you the overall verification outcome, not the watchlist match detail. For the detail behind a flag, you want View report.
- Scroll down to the PEP / Watchlist Results section.
- Find the flagged result you want to look into. Each row shows its Status, Type, Match score and a short description.
- Click View report next to that result to open the full PDF report.
- Use the download option in your PDF viewer to save a copy to your device.
That's it. You've got the full report on file. It captures every list the member matched and the detail behind each one, ready to attach to a case file or share with your compliance team.
