Overview
Digital Forms are built and managed in the Receive module, but they're often the natural next step from a Send communication. A statement that points to a "Change your details" form, a reminder that links to a payment update, a service email that ends with a feedback survey — these are the moments where linking to a form really earns its place.
Any Digital Form that's been published and enabled in the Receive module will automatically appear in the link list inside your templates. There's no copying URLs, no pasting tokens by hand — just pick the form from the dropdown and CX Platform handles the rest, including any personalisation and security settings attached to that form.
You can link a form to a button, an image, or a text link — whichever fits the design of your template.
Link to a Digital Form
- Open the Application and Template you want to edit in the Composition Studio.
- On the Design Canvas, click the button, image, or text link you'd like to turn into a form link.
- On the Content Tab In the side panel settings, you'll see the Link field with a Site dropdown next to it.
- Click the Site dropdown to open the full list of link options.
- Scroll down to the Forms section near bottom of the list. Every published and enabled Digital Form appears here, ready to drop into your template with a single click.
- Select the form you want to link to. The link token will populate automatically.
- Save your changes.
That's it — your button, image, or text link is now wired up to the Digital Form. When recipients click it, they'll be taken straight through to the form with all the connected logic, personalisation, and security settings already in place.
Can't see your form in the list?
If a form's missing from the dropdown, head back to the Receive module and check that it's both published and enabled. Only forms that meet both conditions appear here.
