When you're building a form in the Receive module, the toolbox is your starting point. It holds everything from a simple name field to a full identity check, and you add components just by dragging them onto your form.
Each component does one job well. Some capture text or numbers, some let people choose from a set of options, and others handle more specialised tasks like uploading files, signing documents, or recording audio.
Use this page as a quick reference. Skim the list to find the component you need, check what it does and when you'd reach for it, then drag it straight onto your form.
How the toolbox works
Adding components is all drag and drop — there are no menus to dig through.
- Drag any component from the toolbox onto your form to add it.
- Drag a component up or down to reorder it within the page.
That's all there is to it — build your form, rearrange things as you go, and what you see on screen is what your recipients will see.
Heads up — you can't move components between pages
Reordering only works within a single page. If you need a question on a different page, you'll have to add it there from scratch, so it's worth planning what goes on each page before you start.
Some components live in advanced mode
A handful of components stay hidden until you switch on advanced mode. Click the Advanced mode button next to Save to reveal them. We've flagged each one with an Advanced mode tag in the table below, so you'll know what you're looking for.
Toolbox components
Here's every component in the toolbox, what it does, and when you'd reach for it.
