CORE MODULE

Navigating your Workspace

What you'll learn in this guide

Find your way around CX Platform with confidence. We'll show you how the menus are laid out, what each module is for, and where to head when you need to get something done.

Overview

CX Platform brings all your customer communications into one place — sending, receiving, archiving, verifying, and generating — and each of these lives inside its own module. Getting comfortable with the layout up front means you'll spend less time hunting for things and more time getting work done.

The good news is that the navigation follows the same pattern everywhere you go. Once you've got the hang of it in one module, you've got the hang of it in all of them.

There are two menus to know about: the primary menu across the top of the screen, and the secondary menu down the left-hand side. Here's what each one does and where you'll find things.

The primary menu - Access all modules

The primary menu runs horizontally across the top of the screen. This is your jumping-off point between modules — think of it as the switchboard that gets you to the right part of the platform.

You'll always see the core modules here: Send, Receive, and Archive. Depending on your system configuration and licensing, you may also see add-on modules like Generate, Verify, and Supermatch. Over on the right-hand side, you'll find My account for your profile and settings, and Log out when you're done for the day.

Whichever module you're in, the primary menu stays put — so switching between, say, checking a Send report and searching the Archive only takes a click.

Don't see a module you expected?
‍
If a module is missing from your primary menu, it's likely not included in your licence or hasn't been enabled for your role. Have a chat with your platform administrator if you think you should have access.

‍

The secondary menu - Access all features

The secondary menu runs vertically down the left-hand side of the screen, and it changes depending on which module you're in. So when you click into Send, you'll see Send-specific options. Click over to Receive, and the menu updates to show Receive options instead.

Within each module, the secondary menu is typically grouped into logical sections — usually Reports at the top, followed by management tools (like Applications, Templates, or Members), and settings at the bottom. This grouping makes it easy to find what you need without scanning the whole menu.

‍

What each module does

Here's a quick rundown of the modules you might see in your primary menu and what you'll find inside each one.

Module What it's for
Send

Your engine room for outbound communications — email, SMS, and print. Send is where you build, configure, and send your campaigns and customer messaging.

In the secondary menu you'll find:

  • Send activity — your reporting dashboard for tracking how your sends are performing.
  • Applications — the workspaces that hold your templates, fields, and channel settings for each type of communication.
  • Lists — manage recipient lists for your sends.
  • Search — find a specific recipient or message across your sends.
  • Upload document and Upload batch — push data into the platform for sending, either one document at a time or in bulk.
  • Edit settings and Clear cache — module-wide settings and housekeeping.
Receive

Where digital forms and inbound data capture live. Receive is your home for building forms, collecting responses, and managing the data customers send back to you.

In the secondary menu you'll find:

  • Forms activity — track form submissions and response trends.
  • Templates — create and manage the forms themselves.
  • Responses — view and search the data captured through your forms.
  • Edit settings — module-wide configuration for Receive.
Archive

A searchable record of every communication you've sent. If you ever need to confirm whether a customer received a message, check what they were sent, or pull historical records for compliance, Archive is where you'll go.

Archive opens straight into a search panel where you can filter by Application, channel, date, status, recipient details, and more — so you can zero in on exactly the message or recipient you're after.

Verify

Identity verification and watchlist screening for your members and customers. Verify is where you set up the rules for checking who someone is and monitor results over time.

In the secondary menu you'll find:

  • Verify activity — reporting on verification checks and outcomes.
  • Members, Verifications, and Watchlist — manage the people you're verifying and the checks run against them.
  • Policies — set the rules that govern how verification runs.
  • Edit settings and Terms and Conditions — module configuration and the legal terms presented to members.
Generate

On-demand document generation for personalised communications like statements, letters, and notices. Generate is where you pick a member, choose a template and channel, and produce a one-off communication tailored to them.

In the secondary menu you'll find:

  • Members — search for and select the person you're generating a communication for.
  • Manual — produce a communication without an existing member record.
Supermatch

An add-on module that extends the platform's matching and identity capabilities. If Supermatch is included in your licensing, you'll see it in the primary menu alongside your other modules.

‍

A few things worth knowing

The primary menu highlights the module you're currently in, so you can always tell at a glance where you are. The secondary menu does the same for the section within that module.

If your menus look different from what's described here, that's normal — what you see is shaped by your licence and the permissions your administrator has set for your role. Two people in the same organisation can have quite different views, and that's by design.

That's it — you've got the lay of the land. From here, dive into whichever module you need and have a poke around. Each section has its own guide if you'd like a deeper walkthrough.
